Descriere program / Program description:

As the world faces rapid technological advancements, climate change, and shifting market demands, the agricultural sector must innovate and adapt to thrive. How can we navigate these complexities to ensure sustainable practices, resilient supply chains, and thriving businesses? What role can education and collaboration play in preparing the next generation of professionals for these challenges? Bringing together international students and educators, this week will provide a unique platform to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and co-create solutions for the future of livestock farming (dairy) and entrepreneurship.

Program:

  • Evaluate the sustainability potential of different types of agricultural farms across European countries
  • Apply basic interviewing skills to effectively communicate with farmers and gather relevant qualitative data
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of sustainable business management in agriculture
  • Understand and explain the principles behind the Farming Tree and/or Equine Tree frameworks
  • Identify and describe the 16 key aspects that constitute the Farming Tree model
  • Communicate effectively across cultures in agricultural and rural contexts on international level

Informații cazare / Accommodation information: 6 nopți de cazare la 55 euro/noapte (cu mic dejun inclus), o noapte este finanțată de universitatea gazdă./ 6 nights at 55 euro/night (including breakfast), from which 1 night is financed by the host university.

Condiții de eligibilitate / Eligibility requirements:

  • Student la zi, nivel licență (minim anul III) sau master / Full-time student, Bachelor’s (at least in their third year of studies) or Master’s
  • Engleză B2 (certificatul de limbă străină reprezintă un avantaj) / Level B2 English (a language certificate is an advantage)
  • Eseu de o pagină (format PDF), în limba engleză, despre relevanța temei programului în dezvoltarea academică și profesională a candidatului încărcat în formularul de înscriere, de pe adresa instituțională.
