USAMV Bucharest is an accredited higher education and research institution, pole of excellence in specialized university education, which, with an existence of over 170 years, defines itself as "a university for life and agriculture".

Mission

The mission of USAMV Bucharest is to train specialists with a high degree of qualification and competences corresponding to the demands of the labor market in the fundamental fields: "engineering sciences" and "biological and biomedical sciences" through education and scientific research.

Faculty of Agriculture
The Faculty of Agriculture has the mission of establishing a sustainable balance between man, production and the environment, to train specialists in agricultural production, natural resource management and rural development. Students learn about modern plant breeding technologies, genetic improvement and environmental protection. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, graduates become leaders in agriculture and can contribute significantly to ensuring food security.Discover the faculty

Faculty of Horticulture
The Faculty of Horticulture trains experts in the science of growing fruits, vegetables, flowers and ornamental plants. Horticulture covers a wide range of activities, including the cultivation, propagation, breeding, production and management of plants, as well as the study of plant physiology, genetics and pest control. The Faculty of Animal Production Engineering and Management offers a complete education in the field of animal husbandry, nutrition and their health. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is recognized for training #extraordinary veterinarians. The study program includes theoretical courses and practical internships in veterinary clinics and farms, but the most important thing is that here is the most modern university emergency veterinary hospital in Romania, and students interact with professionals from the first day!
