Student associations
USAMV Bucharest student associations
Students are organized and represented in the Student Associations of each faculty, which work for the professional, social, civic and cultural involvement of students.
Student associations, through their representatives, are an important dialogue partner, having a consultative and liaison role between the management team and students. Periodically, they organize meetings and cultural events, environmental protection and teambuilding, scientific circles and offer support in the events organized by faculties or universities.
Because every student must be represented in the important structures of the university, USAMV Bucharest has as its representative structure the USAMV Bucharest Student Association and the student associations of the faculties.

Sustainability in GreenCampUSAMV
The student association managed to transform food waste from the dormitories and canteen of the university campus into organic fertilizer.
By implementing a composter, the project managed to reduce the level of pollution resulting from the collection and transportation to the landfill of the household waste produced in the USAMV Campus, by transforming it into useful material, namely compost – a nutrient-rich product that can be used in substrate mixtures for potted plants or as fertilizer for field crops in the university’s greenhouses and teaching fields.
