BEFuture Winter & Summer School – 1100 euro scholarship

We are extending the second round of recruitment for SPINAKER BEFuture Programme by one additional week, i.e. till 19/01/2026.

📣 Extended application deadline — BEFuture Winter & Summer School (NAWA SPINAKER)

The international BEFuture programme (Biomedicine/Environment/Food for Future Innovations) brings together PhD students from abroad, invited speakers, and UPWr staff to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Format (hybrid):
• Week 1 (online): 16–20 February 2026
• Week 2 (on-site, UPWr laboratories in Wrocław): 23–27 February 2026❄️

A second edition is planned for May 2026 (exact dates will be announced soon).

🎓 Participants can choose one track:
🐾 VetBioFrontiers (veterinary biomedicine): open to PhD students in veterinary medicine, biology, and biotechnology (and related life-science fields).
☘️ EnviFuture (environmental engineering)
🥑 FoodPack Forward (food technologies)

BEFuture SPINAKER NAWA PROGRAMME
✅ Key eligibility requirements:
• PhD student status (doctoral candidate)
• valid Schengen visa/eligibility to enter the Schengen Area for the on-site week in Poland
• English proficiency at B2 level (confirmation required)

Each participant will receive a scholarship of approximately EUR 1,100 to support travel and accommodation in Wrocław, making the programme particularly attractive for international PhD students.
