Obiective program / Program objectives:
- The microbiota at the heart of health
Understand the role of the various microbiota on animal and human health, the methods to analyse their composition to get an idea of the health status of the individual and the modern methods to improve their composition.
The program will consist of:
- general presentation on microbiota (nomenclature, different types of microbiota, role on animal and human health).
- methods for evaluating the microbiota profile: metagenomics, shot gun, microbial metabolomics, etc.). Why? What is at stake? Technical platforms in France.
- manipulation of microbiota and health: fecal transplantation, prebiotics, probiotics, drug treatments.
- Nutritional specific needs
Know and understand the physiological mechanisms that make it possible to estimate the needs and make nutritional adaptations throughout life, from birth to the elderly, including specific needs in pregnant or breastfeeding women, or even in the event of allergy.
The program will consist of:
- Newborn Nutrition
- Child Nutrition
- Nutrition for adolescents
- Nutrition for pregnant women and breastfeeding women
- Nutrition of the elderly
