Long-term study mobility

How long can a mobility last?

Students can spend between 3 and 12 months on a study mobility. The same student can receive a scholarship for studies or placement abroad for a maximum of 12 months for each study cycle.

Students who are in the first year of university studies can apply for a study mobility that will take place in the second year of studies. If you want to go to Erasmus in the first year of your degree, you can do a long-term internship.

What are the conditions?

Students must be enrolled in a form of higher education with degrees, full-time studies leading to a university degree or other type of certification at tertiary level (including doctoral level).

Mobility can be achieved provided there are inter-institutional agreements between the sending organization and the receiving organization. Both institutions must also hold an Erasmus university card.

Will financial support be given or will fees be charged?

Students can receive an Erasmus + grant intended to cover transport and accommodation costs during the mobility period. Erasmus students are exempt from paying study, registration, exam fees, have access to laboratories or libraries and study areas, regardless of whether or not they receive an Erasmus + grant (Zero Grant mobility).

What kind of preparatory activities are required?

To obtain an Erasmus+ mobility grant, you must register for the selection process organized by the Erasmus+ Office each academic year.

Be an admitted applicant and confirm your place within the deadline specified in the published selection calendar for the pre-published selection process.

To search for a host university, from the list of partner universities (the list is published and updated).

To be accepted by the host university, to complete all the required documents (Application form, Online Learning Agreement – a study contract that regulates the study program to be followed assumed by the 3 parties: student, home institution and receiving institution, etc. .)

The moment you have signed the Online Learning Agreement by yourself, the Erasmus coordinator from the college and the Erasmus coordinator from the host university and you have received the Letter of Invitation – it is official – you enter mobility.

Send the necessary documents to the Erasmus+ Office in USAMV and before leaving sign the Financial Agreement, after which you will receive the mobility grant
