📍 This morning, at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, the CASEE General Assembly took place, with the participation of the founding members of the Association and representatives of eight other higher education and research institutions from the region, attending at the level of rector, dean, and academic leadership. 🤝🎓
📋 The agenda of the meeting included the following items:

4️⃣ 2026 activities plan
5️⃣ Next CASEE Conference 2027
The main item of the General Assembly was the vote on admitting eight new members to the CASEE network. The proposal was unanimously approved by the members present. ✅
🔄 Six universities are returning to the CASEE family:
🇭🇷 University of Zagreb – Faculty of Agriculture, represented by Dean Aleksandar Mešić
🇨🇿 Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), represented by Rector Michal Lošťák
🇭🇺 Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), represented by Rector Csaba Gyuricza
🇵🇱 Warsaw University of Life Sciences, represented by Rector Michał Jerzy Zasada
🇸🇰 Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SAU), represented online by Director Vladislav Valach
🇸🇮 University of Ljubljana – Biotechnical Faculty, represented by Dean Marina Pintar
🆕 Two institutions were accepted as CASEE members for the first time:
🇲🇰 Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, represented by Director Dushko Nedelkovski
🇺🇦 Sumy National Agrarian University, represented by Rector Ihor Kovalenko
🗓️ During the General Assembly, the organization’s strategic directions for 2026 were discussed, as well as preparations for the next CASEE Conference, scheduled to take place on 23–25 May 2027 in Iași, organized by the Ion Ionescu de la Brad Iași University of Life Sciences. 🇷🇴
🤝 The meeting in Tirana reconfirms the strengthening of academic and scientific cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe and the expansion of the CASEE network through new international university partnerships. 🌱🎓
