Admissions for students from EU member states, EEA and Swiss Confederation Citizens
1.Registration for admission
Registration period: July – August
The application process for USAMV Bucharest faculties is done online on admitere.usamv.ro
Citizens of the European Union member states, of the European Economic Area member states (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and of the Swiss Confederation may apply for admission, including state-funded places, in the same conditions as Romanian students.
2.CNRED diploma recognition
The citizens of the Member States of the European Union, of the states belonging to the Economic Area, may take part at the admission process organized by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest under the same conditions provided by law for Romanian citizens, including tuition fees, only by providing the Certificate of Recognition of Studies.

3. Admission documents
Citizens of the European Union member states, of the European Economic Area member states (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and of the Swiss Confederation
Application form shoould contain:
High-school degree:
- in copy, if the study document is issued in Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Italian language
- in copy and certified translation (in original) in Romanian for the documents issued in other languages;
Bachelor degree (if it exists):
- in copy, if the study document is issued in Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Italian language
- in copy and certified translation (in original) in Romanian for the documents issued in other languages
Transcript of records for the last 2 years of high school completed abroad, with subjects and marks/points obtained/ Transcript for bachelor studies:
- copy, if the study document is issued in Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Italian language
- copy and certified translation (in original) in Romanian for the documents issued in other languages
Other documents such as: Provisional Certificate of Maturita from Italy; Pruebas de Aptitud para el Acceso a la Universidad, calificación Apto from Spain; eligibility certificate issued by Verket för högskoleservice from Sweden; etc. – copy and certified translation in Romanian, except for the documents issued in English, French, Spanish, Italian
Certificate of linguistic competence for Romanian language;
Identity card– copy
Passport – copy
Proof of legal name change, if applicable, copy for documents in Romanian language / English / French / Spanish / Italian, and certified translation in Romanian for other languages
Copy of the CNRED file evaluation fee receipt – The fees are payable in RON at the CNRED Cashier’s Office or via bank transfer or postal order, including the account number given at the following e-mail address: https://cnred.edu.ro/en/fees-dossier-evaluation
4. Admission
The admission file must be uploaded to the dedicated admission platform admitere.usamv.ro according to the admission competition contest.
Registration after admission
Bachelor / Master: at the Secretary Office of the faculty that coordinates the study program chosen by the candidate and for which he/she has obtained the Certificate of recognition of studies.
PhD: at the Secretary Office of the Doctoral School after the Certificate of Recognition of Studies had been issued.

Admission to PhD studies
Citizens of the Member States of the European Union, of the states belonging to the European Economic Area and of the Swiss Confederation can also apply for admission to the doctoral studies cycle under the same conditions provided by law for Romanian citizens, including tuition fees.
The recognition of studies will be performed by the National Center for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas (CNRED – within the Ministry of Education) before the registration of candidates for the admission contest; subsequently each candidate must present the Certificate of Recognition of Studies.
The application file must contain the following documents:
- Application form;
- Curriculum vitae – Europass format;
- List of published and / or communicated works;
- Letters of recommendation from two professors or two research specialists who know the candidate’s activity;
- Research topic proposal – endorsed by the doctoral supervisor;
- Approval form of the supervisor;

- in copy, if the study document is issued in Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Italian language
- in copy and certified translation (in original) in Romanian for the documents issued in other languages;
Master degree:
- in copy, if the study document is issued in Romanian, English, French, Spanish, Italian language

Important details
- Documents issued exclusively in English or French do not need to be translated! It is compulsory to provide copies for documents in Romanian language / English / French / Spanish / Italian, and authorized translation in Romanian for other languages.
- Diplomas from Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus need to bear the Hague Apostil Convention from the authorities of the country that issued the document.
- Diplomas issued in countries which are not party of the Hague Convention must be authenticated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and also the Embassy of Romania in that country.
- The study documents must be recognized by the National Centre for the Degree Assessment and Academic Recognition (CNRED).
