The Royal House of Romania continues to support excellence in education and to invest in the future of young generations, offering scholarships to students who stand out through academic performance and involvement in the Peleș domain rehabilitation project. With the support of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, through the Faculty of Horticulture, teaching staff and students contributed to an extensive project to rehabilitate the gardens of the Peleş Royal Domain.
On Monday, October 21, 2024, Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown and His Royal Highness Prince Radu offered the King Michael I Scholarship to student David P.I. Bucur, third year, Horticulture specialization and Queen Ana Scholarship to student Vitalina V. Sandu, third year Landscape specialization. The recognition enjoyed by the two students comes on the back of thorough training in the field and is due to active involvement in academic activities and extracurricular projects.
The scholarship awarding ceremony took place at the Royal Palace, in the Throne Hall in the presence of Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, HRH Prince Radu, HRH Princess Sofia, members of the Royal Council and representatives of Her Majesty’s House.
