The University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest (USAMV Bucharest) was included in the “QS World University Rankings by Subject” – 2024, Agriculture & Forestry Field, position 401-450 at the international level!

The “QS World University Rankings by Subject” uses a set of indicators based on:

– Academic reputation: measures the reputation of institutions and their programs among the international academic community;

– Employer reputation: measures the reputation of institutions and their programs among employers;

– Number of citations: indicator that reflects the impact and quality of the scientific results of the community members;

– The Hirsch Index: quantifies the production and academic influence of a researcher by counting their most cited papers and the corresponding number of citations, thus assessing the impact of university research;

– International Research Network (IRN): assesses the global commitment of an institution by strengthening its international research partnerships and the publications resulting from these collaborations.

The inclusion of USAMV Bucharest in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 for Agriculture & Forestry reflects the quality of the education and research programs, but also the approach to building academic partnerships, the strategic impact, educational innovation, as well as USAMV Bucharest’s commitment to creating added value for society.
