On Friday, October 24, 2025, the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest had the honor of receiving, in the Senate Hall, the visit of an academic delegation from the prestigious Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China. The delegation was accompanied by representatives of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Romania, Ms. Gai Hongbo, Counselor of the Embassy in the field of science and technology, and Mr. Ma Yunfei, Second Secretary.
The discussions focused on identifying opportunities for international cooperation between the two universities, with the main themes being:
1️⃣ Cooperation in the field of research on landscape planning and rural resilience in the context of climate change, land recovery and environmental engineering;
2️⃣ Joint research projects;
3️⃣ Double academic programs, co-supervised doctoral programs and postdoctoral exchanges.
